About one third of the country's employees are freelance workers. That means that one out of three employees in America cannot depend on their direct employer for the vital health benefits that are provided by the customary way of employment. The other two thirds of the population are well taken care of by the best insurance coverage packages their companies purchase for them.
However, the remaining one third have to rely on their own hard earned cash to keep themselves healthy or to purchase an insurance plan themselves. Thankfully, an association of freelancers has proposed the freelance union health insurance campaign, designed to forward the rights of freelancers to the same benefits that direct employers enjoy.
